About
EARLY YEARS
Agnieszka’s musical journey began with guitar lessons at the age seven. By the age of nine she had already written her first song titled Epilogue.
Her musical development continued with singing lessons at the Institute of Music in Lublin University, Poland. Later, Agnieszka would become involved in the world-renowned Leszek Madzik’s Visual and Provisorium Theatres in Lublin.
Her early fascination with rock music led to Agnieszka fronting her first band, Clemency. Influenced by new wave, progressive and gothic rock, the band’s success in Lublin resulted in airplay on the local radio stations and Agnieszka’s first live rock performances.
CAAMORA
In 2005 Agnieszka met Clive Nolan, British composer and keyboard player known for his work in the progressive rock genre. The two immediately gelled and together formed a duo, Caamora. Agnieszka took the decision to relocate to the UK to further musical career.
Caamora toured South America, Europe and North America, frequently joined by local artists. A live recording of this unforgettable experience was released as a double album ‘Acoustic Anthology – Journey’s End’.
Caamora released 3 EPs leading up to their double album and a DVD of ‘She, the Rock Opera’.
SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED
Cast in the title role of the rock opera She as the immortal Queen Ayesha, Agnieszka’s vocal and acting performaces were internationally acclaimed. Agnieszka and Clive were joined by British rock stars Christina Booth (Magenta) and Allan Reed (Pallas).
The lavish ‘She, the Rock Opera’ was noticed by a South American promotor Ricardo Rosenblatt and a full theatrical performance took place in Bolivia in 2009. The event was sponsored by Bolivian Airlines and Agnieszka’s costume and jewellery were designed by top Bolivian designers.
LEAD FEMALE ROLE OF AMELIA IN ALCHEMY THE MUSICAL
In 2010 Agnieszka was cast in the role of Amelia in Clive Nolan’s ‘Alchemy the Musical’. The Caamora duo was joined by a number of artists.
SLEEPLESS
Agnieszka would begin to focus on her solo work culminating in the release of her debut solo album Sleepless on the F2 Record label in 2014.
Drawing on influences from prog rock to symphonic metal, Sleepless was described as modern symphonic prog with a backbone of sonic steel.
Agnieszka performed at the Cambridge Rock Festival and supported British rock band Arena.
ILLUMINAE
In 2017 Agnieszka announced she was joining forces with Ian Jones of Karnataka on a new, powerful music collaboration. They released their first single ‘Blood On Your Hands’ on Nov 27 2020 taken from their forthcoming debut album ‘DARK HORIZONS’ out on 12/2/21. The album features special guests guitar icon Steve Hackett, Nigthwish’s Troy Donockley and guitarist Luke Machin.
